How does swapping work for people in solidarity?
You come to A.cat (Herwarthstraße 7) as a person in solidarity. Here you can purchase a voucher from Rewe, LIDL, Aldi, EDEKA, Rossmann or DM worth €10, €20 or €30 in cash, which refugees have bought with their payment cards.
The Welcome Café organised by Welcome Münster will take place at the same time as the exchange meeting. There will be coffee, tea and brunch. If you feel like it, you can make yourself comfortable in the A.cat after the swap!
How does swapping work for refugees?
You get your money on a payment card and can only withdraw €50 a month in cash? But you need more cash? Then let’s swap! This is how it works:
- You go into a store and buy a voucher for €10, €20 or €30.You will always find these vouchers at the checkout
- You bring the voucher to our exchange office and we exchange it.You will receive the monetary value of the voucher as cash.
